Viva Las Vegas!

I LOVE Vegas; for 24 hours. I'm too old to take any more than that. Here is my short list for a great 24 hours in sin city.

  1. Fountains of Bellagio

    Fountains of Bellagio

    Las Vegas, Nevada

The water fountain show out front is cheesy, but entertaining if you haven't done it. Take a glass of wine and your significant other. Or, just take the wine and find an (in)significant other.

  2. The Palazzo

    The Palazzo

    Las Vegas, Nevada

Best of the 6ish hotels I've stayed at on The Strip. Huge suites, friendly, helpful staff all the way around. I relished the cold pressed juice bar next to the elevators to help clear the cobwebs in my hungover head.

  3. Bouchon

    Bouchon

    Las Vegas, Nevada

Thomas Keller's French bistro on the Vegas Strip. Do the brunch. Get the Merguez hash under soft-poached eggs. Don't skip the fries. Beignets FTW. Hangover helper.

  4. Neon Museum

    Neon Museum

    Las Vegas, Nevada

Haven't been. Want to go. Heard amazing things.

  5. Jaleo

    Jaleo

    Las Vegas, Nevada

Skip the tables. Sit at the bar. Ask the bartender to start bringing you small plates until you cry uncle. Get the gin and tonic. Best in the world. No joke. Worth the absurd price tag. At the bar you'll get great food, good conversation, and an unabashed view of the scantily clad beautiful people headed into the club next door. It is sin city after all.
